Coastal surveillance and defence is required to exclude terrorists, criminals and other undesirable arrivals from entering. Yet, providing complete and effective coastal surveillance coverage can be costly to purchase and to operate unless appropriate technology is selected.
The family of Accipiter® Security Radars offers information networks for real-time coastal surveillance that simultaneously supports both tactical and strategic coastal defence missions. Advanced tracking finds and locks on small, uncooperative targets that may be security threats to nations or marine traffic near the coast. You can create a coastal surveillance network by combining multiple unattended Accipiter® security radars delivering target data via network to multiple users, anywhere they are. Accipiter® Radars are available in mobile and fixed platforms including aerostats for persistent, extended range surveillance. Target data integrates easily into third party Common Operational Picture systems.
