Accipiter History
Beginning in 1994, a group of talented radar engineers and scientists left Raytheon and Sicom Systems Ltd. was born. Sicom began developing the Accipiter® line of radar surveillance products and securing contracts with government agencies and multi-national corporations. Accipiter Radar was spun-out of Sicom in 2006 with the focused mandate of providing wide-area situational awareness solutions especially effective with small uncooperative targets of interest in applications such as homeland security, aviation safety, environmental protection, and defence.
