Accipiter Radar, a North American industry leader in the development and deployment of smart surveillance solutions for use in homeland security and public safety applications, has been awarded a contract by the Port of San Diego to provide an integrated maritime radar system for situational awareness of maritime traffic operating in and around the San Diego Bay. Accipiter’s innovative radar technologies were competitively selected for this project.
Mark Vilardo, Accipiter’s US Managing Director was quoted as saying: “We are delighted to be bringing high-impact value to the Port of San Diego on this important project and delivering critical technology to assist with the security and safety of the Port of San Diego and the greater San Diego area.”
